My Shadow Hunts Me

Shadow!
My shadow!
My shadow is bitter.
A shadow that hunts.
Yes! My shadow hunts me.

Even when I am dreaming,
My shadow follows me there.
I see myself running headlessly.
What am I running from?
My Image!

With all my strength,
I try to detach away from it,
But all my effort remains futile.
For it is stuck unto me.

I shout at it!
I scream at it!
I wail at it!
But it replies me with jest.

It often scares away,
Beautiful flowers always.
My shadow became a bulwark around me.
For it wants to be the only one,
That can swize with me.

This is becoming a lifetime of torture.
Buried behind my scars,
Are my fake laughter.

I am aging with a crying heart.
And the length which my shadow,
As preyed and biting me by pinches.
No! I cried out!
It is enough.

I will turn myself,
Into a more darker image.
And engage the shadow in a wrestle.
And splinter all over the shadow,
Splinter the shadow that hunts
with GOLD!

The Mother Palm Tree

The Mother Palm Tree!
Cocos Nucifera Abiyamo Rere! Water She drinks from, Air that passes through her, And the Sun that made her babies green and beautiful, These three make her adulterous. And makes her gives birth to bastards. So green her babies after delivering them. And they are always in thousands. With almost like strands of rope, Are the branches She backs them on. These babies survive, get strong and increase in size, With their Father’s nutrient. The Mother palm tree never drops her babies, Within the duration of Twelve months of backing them. The air released from there Mother’s long feathers, And the gentle breezes from the sky, Gives life to the Coconut from there nostrils. Raindrops from the sky, Water consistently thrown to the depth by a Samaritan, While the liquid the Mother released from her depth, Keeps the baby coconuts fresh. A baby which faulty, The Mother releases it, And allow the wilderness to beat it. When the coconut starts getting brown, The mother releases them to fend on its own. It is just funny to say that the end of a coconut Is always ended in a sad note? From the way the Mother drops it, From the way the sun blasts it? From the way the husk is removed from it, From the way the shell is broken off it? From the way the water within is thrown away? These make the coconut to have a tragic end. What am I saying so far is an Oxymoron, To our lives. But if we live wisely, our will end well. Written By; ADEBAYO, Busayo

THE FUNCTIONS OF THE HEART

The heart is a house.
The heart holds memories.
The heart is a store.
The heart is a community.

The heart has a house,
Brings and cherish family and friends.
Makes man exist.
Love unconditionally.

The heart has a store,
Holds in anger.
The heart has a store,
Breeds hate.
The heart has a store,
shows jealousy.

The functions of the heart in holding memories,
Is a wonderful one.
It remembers joyful memories that last for eternity.
It also remembers memories that aches.
And it remembers love memories that hurt the soul.

You will notice that I have left being educated?
Yes, this is because you get educated with your mind.
Heart and mind have different functions,
So your brain is your mind.

The brain also controls your heart.
If you manage your brain well,
It will not get hurt and neither will it ache.
And the heart will be joyful home.

Till the end of time.

ACT LIKE A MAMA CHEETAH

Be fast as a Cheetah.
Be cunning like a Cheetah.
Be wise like a Cheetah.
Be smart like a Cheetah.
Be strong like a Cheetah.
Learn to attack like a Cheetah.

In decision making,
Why not tweak your brains,
Into swift, wise changes.

When a Cheetah
Is on a hunting spree,
She will hide her whole body,
Under the grass.
As her preys
Continue to graze on the grasses,
They are much unaware that;
An attacker is coming to hunt them.
As she continues to keep herself hidden,
It might be taking too long,
But she uses all this time.
To target a particular animal,
To feed on.

Life always want to beat us down,
But at this point,
We all need to put on;
Our fast, cunny, wise, smart, strong and attacking crown on.

Life is like an animal,
That always run fast ahead of us,
And leaves us humans on earth behind,
But we all have to cut a piece of it,
Better still grab the whole animal,
For our enjoyment.

There are, times,
When the animal will run faster than you,
We will be left with just scrabs of a dead animal
Or we hunt on rodents.
These are hard times,
Don't feel weary and do not be sad.
There are better days ahead,
No matter how long it takes.

And finally,
You are successful:
Success in diverse relationships,
Success in Education,
Success wholesomely,
And you see yourself riding,

A royalty cart that is
high in the sky.

It Was Supposed To Be A Simple Kiss

We kissed,

A long deep kiss,

A long deep French kiss.

Tongue on tongue,

While mixing saliva.

A long deep morning kiss,

That we both forgot,

That it is a working day.

It was supposed to be a simple kiss.

A kiss that led to,

Shielding away our work clothes,

Away from our already,

Engrossed body with sweats.

A simple kiss that got the hunk,

To find his tongue moving down,

To her neck, to her nipples,

And down to her navel.

Then she started vibrating at intervals.

She handled three of my longest fingers,

To make it stand like carrots,

And deepen it into her pussy.

I increased the tempo,

That an ordinary finger,

Began to make her squirts.

Then I will make her,

Hunger more for my,

Already throbbing and standing rod.

And I kissed her down to her feet's,

Like some crazy feet's fetish,

While I was still fingering her.

Then I kissed all over her body back up,

And now it is time to gently,

Slide my warm cucumber,

Into her soft pinkish cold pussy.

When I got comfortable,

Riding in and out of her water bed,

Then I see myself,

Floating high in the sky,

Within the cloud's.

When I was speeding up,

I handled her like a roman god,

That made her squirts severally,

Before dumping my loads into her.

And this sweet session made us,

To totally forgot about office that day.

Sword of Words

Some words can,
Pierce through the heart.
Some words can,
Soothe ones mind.
Where do you belong?

Words are so gallant,
Like a roman warrior.
Words are sharp too,
Like rays from the sun.
While some simply,
Makes theirs recklessly.

Are you someone,
That watch your words?
Are you someone,
That says gibberish,
Which has no meaning to human hearing?
Are you someone that,
Just go around hurting,
With your hurtful tongue?

Words are meant to be built,
With beauty and poise.
But you decide that it is to be built,
Harsh like knives,
That cut through ones flesh.

Words changes live to be better,
But you use the words to tarnish ones image.
Words put laughter on the face,
But you decide to use it to make someone weeps.
Why brother? Why sister?

Why don't you use the word,
To change someones life,
Either mentally, psychologically, and physically?
Why don't you use your words,
To make an impact in the world?

Finally, I will say,
Instead of using your words,
To hurt someone both internally and externally,
Then why not keep quiet?
Because a statement made out,
Is just like an egg,
Once broken, it can never be joined together again.
Words travels wide and can never be taken back.
And can never be forgotten by the person that received it.

THIS MAN IS POSSESSIVE

Ah! Haven't I got stucked in an engagement that will snuff life out of me? I have little kids that I cannot live on earth and proceed to Heaven. Who will help me? Wow! This man is possessive. Always monitoring my movement.

I am always submissive to him and I am a slave to him even in the bedroom. All my support is at his beck and call. I give him everything he wants and everything he needs. Even if it is not convenient for me, I sacrifice this moment. The house help is more like a detective for him. What more does he want?

When I am on the phone, he overs all over the phone call
He is a tail stucked onto me when I am going out
He keeps a landline at home to monitor my movement. When he calls and no one picks the call, he will come back home deliberately without his car in quick assumption that another man is with me. When we are in either Churches or an event, he doesn't want me to move an inch away from him. He takes the responsibility to drop the kids in School including all the Schools activities, he will still be the one to take charge.

He keeps a First Class Architectural graduate in his home as an house wife. What about what I want to do? What about my freedom? What about following my dreams?

I have had plans of leaving this marriage, but what about my kids? I do not want to raise them without a father or in another marriage or as a single mother. If I threaten him with this, he will hold me to ransom with suicidal attempts.

My parents are no more. I have no where to fall back to. He has alienated from keeping friends. He and the house help goes to the market when the house is in need of home groceries. Just to stretch my legs as been timetabled on Saturdays and Sundays so he will have the opportunity to follow me. Hmm! All the neighbours think this marriage is like a bed of roses, they do not know that I am in bondage.

He is never ready to have a discussion, either for fun or serious business. He does not even give me any chance to advise, encourage and at least, view my support on how his business will grow. But he is always ready to monitor my movement and accompany me to anywhere. In fact, he constantly leaves office to accompany me to wherever I am going.

Who is willing to help me? Who is ready to hear my silent screams? Who is ready to help me counsel my husband because all what I listed down are not ordinary protection over a spouse? What will I do? What can I do? What should I do?
