Exactly. Reason for so many vices being reported daily. Self-employment, enterpreneurship - not easy; unless government sincerely create an enabling environment, like funding, equipment, etc.

Advocacy for self-employment should be more proactive by governments at all level, providing the necessary enabling environment like infrastructure, finance, exposure and all it takes to be self-employed. The society is tired of youth restiveness and its attendant vices.
ReplyDeleteWell, for as many youths aged 18 to 40 who have a post secondary education and are Nigerian citizens, there is a Federal Government funded programme called Youth Enterprise with innovation in Nigeria which will fund your business idea or existing business to the tune of 10 million naira. No kidding because I know some of the beneficiaries. You have to submit your business plan online at www.youwin.org.ng. its a competition so you have to put in your best. The next edition starts on Monday 25th November 2013 but you can apply on the website to submit your business plan.
